This individual will play a pivotal role in expanding TerraPay's footprint in Canada, contributing significantly to our global growth and market leadership. How you will create impact: Expand TerraPay's Global Footprint: Identify and launch new Send Partners and opportunities within TerraPay's network across Canada Foster strong relationships with strategic partners, including Canada-based banking institutions, fintech platforms, and payment service providers Develop a pipeline of Regional and Local banks Drive Product Excellence Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure TerraPay's offerings remain competitive in the Canadian market Negotiate optimal terms with partners to maximize value in the region Continuously identify opportunities to enhance existing product offerings and introduce innovations tailored to Canada's market needs Optimize FX Operations Understand foreign exchange dynamics specific to the Canadian market Build a network for efficient FX sourcing and management Partner Management and Performance Hold Send partners accountable for achieving agreed-upon performance metrics Drive continuous improvement initiatives with partners Collaborate with Receive markets globally to deliver targeted volumes from Canada Customer-Centric Approach Build & maintain deep understanding of the cross-border money movement preferences and needs of banking customers and within the Canadian remittance and payments landscape Integrate customer feedback into product development and channel expansion strategies Requirements Essential qualifications: 15+ years in Payments, Fintech, Banking or Financial Services realm, with hands-on experience in B2B sales, especially if you've sold into Money Remittance, PSPs, or financial services. Bonus points if you've worked with platforms! CRM Savvy: You're a CRM whiz. If it's not in your toolkit, it should be! Flexibility & Ownership: You're adaptable, self-motivated, and take full ownership of your tasks Team Spirit: You thrive in a team environment and are open to change but can also handle working independently Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Canadian money-transfer and remittance markets, including regulatory frameworks Relationship Builder: You excel at creating and maintaining effective relationships with clients, partners, third parties, and colleagues Detail-Oriented: Your attention to detail is impeccable, nothing gets past you!
