With hundreds of deliveries every day to customers across Ontario including hotels, casinos, event venues, restaurants and other foodservice outlets, the company manages a complex supply chain and distribution network. Over the past 40 years, we have grown steadily to meet the demands of the foodservice industry and now, the online consumer. Position Overview Reporting to our Logistics Supervisor, the delivery driver is the main point of contact between The Butcher Shoppe and our customers. The delivery driver is responsible for organizing their route each morning with the assistance of our order takers, loading their truck or van with product alongside a shipper, and delivering the product to wholesale and individual customers. Key responsibilities * Delivers high-quality products to customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner. * Establishes and maintains outstanding relations with customers. * Reviews and verifies invoices and purchase requests to ensure accuracy. * Inspects delivery vehicles and ensures the safety and security of the loading and unloading process. * Contacts customers to confirm delivery details. * Determines placement of merchandise, follows safety and lifting protocols during deliveries, and conducts safety reviews. * Maintains delivery logs and records. Qualifications * Minimum of 3 years in a delivery driving role. * Valid G driver’s license and a clear driver’s abstract. * Experience driving a straight truck is an asset. SHIFT SCHEDULE: Mon-Sat Monday to Friday: Start time at 8:00 AM; end time varies based on workload and delivery schedules, typically between 5:00 PM and 11:00 PM. Saturday: Start time at 7:00 AM; end time varies between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Monday to Friday: Start time at 8:00 AM; end time varies based on workload and delivery schedules, typically between 5:00 PM and 11:00 PM. Saturday: Start time at 7:00 AM; end time varies between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM.

What you’ll do
