With hundreds of deliveries every day to customers across Ontario including hotels, casinos, event venues, restaurants and other foodservice outlets, the company manages a complex supply chain and distribution network. Position Overview Reporting to the Shipping Supervisor, the Shipper plays a key role in supporting The Butcher Shoppe’s shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations. The Shipper is responsible for accurately preparing customer orders, handling inventory, and assisting drivers to ensure timely and efficient deliveries to both wholesale and individual customers. Key Responsibilities • Picks, prepares, and stages customer orders for delivery or pickup. • Properly processes, packages, and labels inventory and customer orders in accordance with company standards. • Assists with loading and unloading delivery vehicles to support efficient routing and timely departures. • Unloads incoming trucks and deliveries, ensuring products are sorted, organized, and stored correctly. • Maintains a clean, safe, and organized shipping and warehouse environment. • Supports the shipping, receiving, and warehouse teams with additional tasks as required. • Follows all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and food handling protocols. Qualifications • Previous experience in a shipping, receiving, or warehouse environment is an asset. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Team-oriented with good communication skills. • Reliable and able to follow established procedures and safety standards. Work hours Shift A Monday to Friday 12pm to 9pm
