Role Description The Registered Massage Therapist is a full-time, on-site role based at The Clayfield in Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON. The therapist will provide professional massage treatments tailored to guest needs, including therapeutic techniques, relaxation-focused sessions, and specialty modalities. Daily responsibilities include conducting thorough consultations, maintaining accurate treatment records, preparing and cleaning treatment rooms, and ensuring equipment and linens meet hygiene standards. The therapist will educate guests on stress management, wellness practices, and appropriate follow-up care, while maintaining a calm, welcoming environment. The role also involves collaborating with the spa and hotel team, supporting guest service initiatives, and adhering to regulatory and brand standards for safety and professionalism. Qualifications Strong Customer Service skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction, empathy, and clear communication. Proficiency in Therapeutic Massage and Body Massage techniques, with the ability to tailor treatments to individual needs. Experience or training in Shiatsu and other specialized modalities is an asset. Ability to support Stress Management for guests through appropriate techniques, education, and wellness recommendations. Current registration and good standing with the relevant Massage Therapy regulatory body in Ontario. Completion of an accredited Massage Therapy program and eligibility for professional liability insurance. Commitment to maintaining high hygiene, safety, and confidentiality standards in all treatments. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by guest demand. Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with spa and hotel colleagues.

Applicants must be registered and in good standing with the relevant Ontario massage therapy regulatory body, have completed an accredited massage therapy program, and be eligible for professional liability insurance. Strong customer service, massage technique, hygiene, confidentiality, and teamwork are required; Shiatsu or other specialized modality training is an asset, and flexible availability is needed.
