Position Title: Delivery Driver Reports to: Logistics and Warehouse Supervisor Direct Reports: N/A Salary: $22/hour Success To be successful in this role, the Delivery Driver is fully engaged and is always willing to go above and beyond to create a great experience for Wholesome Kids Catering’s customers. Good relationship building skills are needed to excel with internal team members as well as customers. Organization and the ability to work in a face paced environment are important to this position. Results focused and actions oriented are also skills that would create success in this position. The Role Reporting to the Logistics and Warehouse Supervisor, this role focuses on engaging with Wholesome Kids Catering customers while delivering food items. The delivery drivers are to ensure the correct items are delivered to the correct customers according to the delivery route and map provided to them. Instructions are to be followed regarding where to unload the food items at the centers, and in turn collect all empty bins or equipment to return them to the Wholesome Kids Catering production facility for cleaning. This position may also provide support to the production staff by delivering special catering orders or picking up equipment as needed. Delivery drivers are expected to update Customer Service if they encounter a delay on their route. Qualification and Experience Full G license Clean Driver’s Abstract Can work well independently as well as in a team Customer focused decision making Proactive and reactive problem-solving abilities Organized with the ability to prioritize and manage time well College Diploma or University Degree is an asset Duties and Responsibilities Delivering healthy and nutritious lunch and snacks to the Childcare Centers Assisting with the distribution of items into delivery vans Pick-ups and deliveries from Production to Customers Assist with monthly HACCP reporting for delivery vans Safe Driving Health and Safety in driving Cleaning and maintaining vans Reporting Taking pictures when delivery is done on the Driver’s App Reporting to dispatch any incident that occurred in a timely manner Handling boxes in a proper way ensuring no damages Maintaining good customer service to clients Skills and Competencies Accountability Adaptability Negotiation Skills Teamwork Effective Communication Organized Results Focused Service Oriented Problem Solving Relationship Building
