The IT Infrastructure & Systems Specialist will play a key role in leading data migration initiatives, supporting infrastructure and network modernization, managing technology vendors, and helping shape the future technology landscape of the organization. This position offers exposure to enterprise-scale projects, global stakeholders, manufacturing systems, and a clear path toward future IT leadership responsibilities. IT Infrastructure & Systems Specialist Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate a large-scale enterprise data migration project, ensuring milestones, timelines, and business requirements are successfully achieved. Serve as the primary technical liaison between internal stakeholders, managed service providers, technology vendors, and global IT teams. Manage and support enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, networking, cloud technologies, hardware, and end-user computing environments. Participate in the design and evolution of network architecture to support manufacturing operations, business growth, and future technology initiatives. Administer and support Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and related cloud-based technologies. Contribute to cybersecurity initiatives, including vulnerability management, endpoint protection, patch management, access controls, and security best practices. Support and enhance Microsoft Dynamics ERP and related business systems, integrations, and user requirements. Collaborate with manufacturing and operational leaders to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions. Support future Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), shop-floor technology, production software, and ERP integration initiatives. Evaluate, recommend, and implement infrastructure, hardware, and technology solutions that improve operational efficiency and business performance. Lead infrastructure upgrades, technology implementations, and continuous improvement projects across the organization. Manage vendor relationships, solution evaluations, service delivery expectations, and technology-related project coordination. Maintain technology documentation, disaster recovery procedures, business continuity plans, and infrastructure standards. Contribute to the organization's long-term IT strategy and support the future growth of the IT function and leadership structure. The Successful Candidate Has: 4-6 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, network administration, or a related technical role. Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. A Computer Engineering background is strongly preferred. Hands-on experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, networking, servers, cloud technologies, and business-critical systems. Strong understanding of network architecture, infrastructure design, hardware selection, deployment, and lifecycle management. Experience participating in or leading data migration, infrastructure modernization, or digital transformation initiatives. Knowledge of cybersecurity principles including identity management, endpoint protection, patch management, access controls, and risk mitigation. Experience managing external vendors, managed service providers, consultants, and third-party technology partners. Experience supporting Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and cloud-based technologies. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated project ownership and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Strong business acumen with an understanding of balancing technical requirements, budget considerations, and operational priorities. Leadership potential, ambition, and a desire to grow into a future IT leadership position. Ability to work effectively within multicultural environments and collaborate with international stakeholders. Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or production environments is considered an asset. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, MES platforms, project management, or cybersecurity certifications is considered an asset. Compensation and Benefits: The discussed salary range is $80,000 - $90,000, depending on experience. Annual bonus opportunity of approximately 5% - 10%.
