Jim Pattison Volvo Cars Surrey is seeking an energetic, reliable, and organized Car Wash Attendant to be the pillar of support for our dealership. As a supporting role for our Service department, you’ll play a key part in ensuring that our vehicles are well presented to our customers. Schedule: This is a full-time, permanent role requiring 40 hours per week, 5 days per week. Pay Range: $18.25 per hour, depending on experience This role reports to the Fixed Operations Manager of the dealership. Learn more about us here: https://www.jpautogroup.com/dealership/about.htm A Day in the Life Maintain and monitor the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of our customer vehicles, including exterior washing and interior cleaning Maneuver, arrange, and relocate guest vehicles with care Ensure any potential issues with vehicles or the dealership property are promptly reported Safe use of tools, equipment, and cleaning supplies Ensure a high degree of confidentiality with company and customer information Participate in maintaining a supportive and engaging working environment Other duties as assigned What We’re Looking For A valid BC Driver’s license is required, including a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract report Previous experience in the automotive industry is considered a strong asset Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmissions is preferred Strong customer-service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude Detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities Reliable, punctual, and dependable This is a physically active role and requires the following: Frequent walking throughout the dealership building and lot Walking and/or standing for long periods Frequent operation of automatic and manual transmission vehicles Washing vehicles, which may include use of various cleaning products and frequent bending, crouching, and reaching Significant time spent outdoors in various weather, including sun, rain, wind, snow, cold, and heat.
