Introduction The Jim Pattison Auto Group is seeking a personable, thoughtful, and tech-savvy Junior Parts Advisor to be the welcoming face of the Parts Department at our Jim Pattison Hyundai Northshore dealership. As the primary point of contact for Parts customers, you’ll play a key role in creating a positive and enjoyable experience. You’ll take pride in delivering exceptional service, staying organized, and ensuring every interaction reflects our strong commitment to our customers. Pay Range: $20.00 to $23.00 hourly depends on the experience This role reports to the Parts & Service Manager of the dealership. Learn more about us here: https://www.jpautogroup.com/dealership/about.htm A Day in the Life Greet customers professionally and assist with all parts inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email Accurately identify, locate, and source automotive parts using dealership systems and manufacturer catalogues Provide quotes, availability, and delivery timelines for parts to both retail customers and internal service technicians Process parts orders, invoices, returns, and special orders in accordance with dealership procedures Receive, unpack, label, and stock incoming parts shipments while maintaining accurate inventory records Pick and stage parts for the service department in a timely and organized manner Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient parts department and storage area Communicate effectively with technicians, service advisors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow and timely repairs Assist in monitoring and managing parts inventory levels and report discrepancies or shortages Ensure all customer and company information is handled with confidentiality and professionalism Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment within the dealership Perform other duties as assigned What We’re Looking For Previous experience in an automotive parts department or dealership environment is a strong asset Knowledge of automotive parts and systems is highly preferred Strong customer service skills with a professional, friendly, and helpful attitude Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling orders and inventory Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Comfortable using computer systems, parts catalogues, and dealership management software Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented with a strong work ethic Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with technicians and service staff This is a moderately physical role that requires: Frequent standing and walking throughout the parts department and dealership Regular lifting, carrying, and moving of automotive parts and supplies (up to 50 lbs) Reaching, bending, and shelving inventory items Extended periods working at a computer and parts counter Occasional use of equipment such as parts carts or pallet jacks Working in a fast-paced automotive environment with occasional exposure to garage and warehouse conditions What We Offer Competitive wages Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and insurance Flexible schedules Unlimited opportunities for advancement, growth, and development Manufacturer led training opportunities Access to exclusive corporate discount programs Recognition and rewards programs A great team atmosphere and a positive, supportive working environment How to Apply If this sounds like a great fit, please apply with your resume today!
