Job summary
Jim Pattison Toyota on Regent is looking for a dependable, motivated, and detail-oriented Lot Attendant to join our dealership team. In this role, you’ll provide essential support to our Sales department by keeping the lot organized, vehicles clean, and inventory ready to be presented to customers. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong eye for detail, and understands the importance of creating a positive customer experience. This position is an excellent opportunity to get started in the automotive industry, gain valuable dealership experience, and build a path toward future career growth and advancement. Schedule: This is a Monday through Friday, permanent role of 40 hours per week. The regularly scheduled hours will be 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. A Day in the Life Maintain and monitor the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of all vehicle inventory, including exterior washing and interior cleaning Ensure vehicles are displayed in a way that creates a positive first impression for customers Maneuver, arrange, and relocate inventory and guest vehicles with care Capture clear, appealing photos of pre-owned vehicle inventory and assist with posting them online Ensure any potential issues with vehicles or the dealership property are promptly reported Safe use of tools, equipment, and cleaning supplies Ensure a high degree of confidentiality with company and customer information Participate in maintaining a supportive and engaging working environment Other duties as assigned What We’re Looking For A valid MB Driver’s license is required, including a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract report Previous experience in the automotive industry is considered a strong asset Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmissions is preferred Strong customer-service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude Detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities Reliable, punctual, and dependable This is a physically active role and requires the following: Frequent walking throughout the dealership building and lot Walking and/or standing for long periods Frequent operation of automatic and manual transmission vehicles Washing vehicles, which may include use of various cleaning products and frequent bending, crouching, and reaching Significant time spent outdoors in various weather, including sun, rain, wind, snow, cold, and heat.
