Day in the Life As a Cement Tanker Driver, you will begin to know the highways like the back of your hand, as you will be responsible for transporting precious cargo, operating and driving a Pneumatic Cement Tanker, and loading/unloading cement powder. Strong communications skills will also be necessary as you coordinate with clients, customers and dispatch. When you are not driving, you will be conducting daily circle checks on vehicles, cleaning, and performing equipment maintenance but safety will be your number one priority. It will also be important to stay organized when completing daily timesheets. Qualifications Valid AZ driver’s license and clean abstract Knowledge of the Highway Traffic Act and municipality by-laws Knowledge of operating equipment Cement Tanker and/or dry bulk tanker experience preferred Knowledge of technology including electronic logs and dispatching software Ability to lift 50lbs Mechanically inclined Compensation Data Targeting $34 to $35/hr to start Culture At Miller, we want every employee to feel connected, where creativity and innovation thrive, and your contributions make a real impact.
