In your role as a Commercial Sales Coordinator for The North West Company (NWC), you are responsible for coordinating the day-to-day administration activities to streamline the quoting and ordering processes. You will provide support to the sales team and ensure the smooth execution of sales operations within a company. Your Role: Responsible for responding and preparing quote requests sent in by Northern Stores and or directly by customers including freight directly to specified locations. Sourcing product through numerous suppliers and vendors for quotes on product. Creating purchase orders and shipping labels for direct vendor shipments into communities. Creating Retek PO numbers and warehouse requisition requests. Communicating with the transportation division to make logistical decisions based on the specific quotation. Processing approved sales to be captured on a monthly basis, review with Inventory management quarterly. Generating invoices to be distributed back to sales representatives for furtherance to customers Creating Marketing requests for seasonal promotional programs. Create and distribute a variety of documents including agendas, correspondence, emails and meeting minutes. Desired Skills & Experience: Post-Secondary Degree preferred, but not required; A minimum of 3 years administrative experience. Knowledge of Microsoft office suite, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Excellent time management, multitasking and organizational capabilities. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service. Must have a demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
