Position Information Temporary until approximately May 28, 2028. This position is within the Financial Services Department at the Civic Campus. The Accountant, as part of the Accounting team, is responsible for preparing, controlling and monitoring all types of transactions related to the month end accounting cycle. Tasks include preparing adjusting entries and accruals in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, coordinating and recording information received from other sources, account reconciliations, analysis of related Balance Sheet accounts as well as preparation of working papers for quarterly and year end audit files and other reporting as required. Rotation/Shifts Days, Monday to Friday, 8 hour shifts (08:00-16:00). For information purposes only - The Hospital reserves the right to change. Basic Requirements University Degree in Accounting OR 3 year Business Administration - Finance diploma; Two years experience in General Accounting; Experience in Accounting; Knowledge of Oracle; Intermediate Excel; Intermediate Word. Requirements
