Position Information Cardiac Catheterization Lab Rotation/Shifts Days, evenings, nights, including weekends, 8 hour shifts. Must be available for standby and call back (nights) - 30 minutes return time to work. For information purposes only - The Hospital reserves the right to change. Basic Requirements Current Certificate of Competence in the Province of Ontario; Current Cardiac catheterization laboratory experience; Two (2) years Critical Care or Emergency Department experience; Completion of Critical Care course or Emergency Department course; E.C.G. interpretation; Current certification for B.C.L.S.; Must be eligible to work in Canada; Proficiency in English and French oral expression (level 4 - advanced) and comprehension (level 4 - advanced). The Ottawa Hospital uses a 5-level language proficiency scale to define the required level of language skills in English and in French for positions at the Hospital, and to evaluate job candidate language skills. Language proficiency requirements are based on the nature of the position and the level of interaction with French and English-speaking clients. Requirements
Must hold a current Certificate of Competence in Ontario with experience in cardiac catheterization and two years of Critical Care or Emergency Department experience. Advanced proficiency in both English and French is required.
