Job summary

As a Regional Sales Manager you will drive the success of the sales performance within the Alberta Region by providing leadership and direction to the sales team to generate new business and maintain existing accounts within the market. You are crafting awareness of our products and services and building relationships with all key facilitators, influencers and end users! This position is a hybrid role working in the office two days a week in either Edmonton or Calgary, AB. Key Responsibilities Develop a long and near-term strategic plan to drive profitable growth that addresses industry trends, value chain influence, value proposition, commercial priorities, R&D priorities, and operational priorities. Expand sales opportunity pipeline and improve conversion rate through the pipeline to deliver regional growth in future years. Provide outstanding customer service: handle questions, complaints, requests for quotes; follow-thru on requests for assistance; troubleshoot and assist customer in any way possible. Advise customer base of industry and/or product developments. Manages the sales function and is responsible for ensuring the organization's sales volume and profitability objectives are met; could be key account sales or distribution sales Manage a team of sales representatives. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field, plus eight (8) or more years of materials sales experience, preferably with paint/coatings expertise. Proven track record to develop and manage long term, high value projects with multiple influencers and decision makers. Ability to track and maintain records using CRM software, as well as, Microsoft Office. Strong leadership and supervisory experience required Applicants must be authorized to work in Canada without employment-based visa sponsorship (now or in the future). Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree and at least eight years of materials sales experience, preferably in paint and coatings. Candidates must have a proven track record of managing high-value projects and be authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship.
