We’re looking for a Brokerage Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team! In this role, you’ll play a key part in making sure shipments are scheduled, tracked, and delivered on time—while building strong relationships with carriers and customers along the way. Previous experience working in a transportation brokerage or 3PL environment is a requirement for this position. Location: Mississauga, ON Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Salary: $60,000–$75,000 Key Responsibilities Coordinate the transportation and shipping of goods while ensuring compliance with all regulations and company standards. Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, suppliers, and customers to keep operations running smoothly. Schedule and monitor shipments, keeping clients and team members informed every step of the way. Source and work with carriers to ensure freight is covered reliably, competitively, and on time. Analyze logistics data to uncover trends, identify opportunities for improvement, and help reduce costs. Create and maintain accurate shipping documentation, including bills of lading, freight invoices, and customs paperwork. Resolve challenges that arise during the shipping process, including delays, route changes, capacity issues, and damaged goods. Work closely with internal teams including sales, fleet operations, and customer service to deliver an excellent customer experience. Support the development and implementation of logistics strategies and best practices. What You Bring 2–4 years of transportation/logistics experience, including hands-on experience in a freight brokerage or 3PL environment. A solid understanding of the brokerage environment, including carrier sourcing, rate negotiation, shipment tracking, and issue resolution. A post-secondary education in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred. Confidence working with logistics software and systems, including Transportation Management Systems (TMS). Strong communication and relationship-building skills—you’re great with people and clear under pressure. Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment while staying focused and organized. Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
