The Speech Language Pathologist will conduct formal and informal speech and language assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide evidence-based therapy to clients. The Speech Solution Centre (www.thespeechsolutioncentre.ca) is hiring Speech Language Pathologists (SLP). Responsibilities: Assessment: Conduct in -person formal and informal Speech and Language assessments, interpretation, goal setting, progress notes writing and report writing. Consultation: Provide consultation to school teachers/childcare, other professionals that are in the circle of care of Complex cases to inform treatment planning and service delivery. Work collaboratively with parents and other professionals as needed. Treatment: Deliver evidence-based treatment for clients (individual, group, or parent training) analysis and goal setting, documentation, progress monitoring, and discharge planning as well as delivery of caregiver education and training. Supervision of support staff: Supervise support staff; this includes reading notes, observing sessions, discussing cases and providing support as needed. Administration: attend the Centre meetings as needed, scheduling client appointments, managing the speech and language client files and documentations. Respect the privacy and confidentiality of all sensitive client data. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech and Language Pathology Registered with CASLPO Excellent oral and written communication. Excellent organizational skills.
