Taggart Construction Limited is looking for an experienced Foreperson to lead water and sewer infrastructure crews on civil construction projects across Ottawa. If you know how to run a safe, productive site; keep crews focused; read drawings, grades, and specs; and deliver underground infrastructure work the right way, we want to hear from you. This role is specifically suited to candidates with hands-on leadership experience in watermain, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and related heavy civil infrastructure work. What you’ll do: Lead daily field operations for water, sewer, storm, site servicing, grading, and roadwork projects. Coordinate crews, equipment, materials, inspectors, subcontractors, and project teams. Keep work moving safely, efficiently, and to specification. Read and interpret drawings, grades, and construction specifications. Set clear expectations, coach crew members, and maintain strong site communication. What we’re looking for: Proven Foreperson experience in water and sewer infrastructure construction. Strong knowledge of watermain, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, excavation, grading, and site servicing work. A safety-first mindset and the ability to lead productive, accountable crews. Ability to solve problems quickly and keep projects organized under busy site conditions. Valid driver’s license and willingness to work across Ottawa-area sites. Why Taggart?
