The Opportunity: This is a full-time, in-person position for someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in providing thoughtful, attentive service. As the Patient Care Coordinator, you will be an important part of the patient experience, welcoming patients, coordinating appointments, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the clinic’s day-to-day administrative needs. This is a full-time, in-person position with regular working hours of 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. The Ideal Candidate: You are warm, patient, and genuinely enjoy helping people. You understand that visiting a healthcare clinic can sometimes feel overwhelming and know how to make patients feel comfortable and well cared for. You are also organized, dependable, and comfortable managing several priorities throughout the day. Accuracy matters to you, and you can be trusted to handle confidential patient information with professionalism and discretion. You enjoy being part of a collaborative team and are open to learning and feedback. Responsibilities: Welcome patients and create a friendly, comfortable clinic experience Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments Complete appointment reminders, recalls, and follow-up communication Maintain accurate patient records and update information as required Process payments and provide receipts Assist with third-party insurance, WCB, and Veterans Affairs claims Prepare reports and support general clinic administration Maintain office and clinic supplies Assist clinicians with documentation and administrative support Provide basic hearing aid cleaning and maintenance support following training Support patients with patience, empathy, and professionalism Provide coverage or assistance at another clinic location when required Requirements High school diploma required Diploma in Office Administration or a related field is considered an asset Previous administrative, reception, customer service, or healthcare office experience Comfortable using office management, scheduling, or customer relationship management systems Proficiency with Microsoft Office Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organization and attention to detail Ability to maintain patient confidentiality Experience processing insurance, WCB, or Veterans Affairs claims is considered an asset Must be bondable Benefits Accurate Hearing offers competitive compensation and a supportive, patient-focused working environment.
