*Dietary Aide* *Casual* *Days Shift - 7 hrs each (7am - 2pm)* *Evening Shifts - 4 hrs each (3:30pm - 7:30pm)* *Job Summary:* We are looking for a dedicated Dietary Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting with meal preparation, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring a positive dining experience for our residents. As a Dietary Aide, you will work in a dynamic kitchen environment, contributing to the overall well-being of our residents. *Responsibilities:* * Assist in meal preparation and serving according to dietary requirements and portion control guidelines. * Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, equipment, and dining spaces. * Follow food safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal schedules and special dietary needs. * Provide excellent customer service to residents during meal times. * Adhere to time management practices to ensure timely meal delivery. * Support overall kitchen operations as needed. *Requirements:* * Experience in the food industry or similar setting is preferred. * Knowledge of sanitate procedures and food handling practices. * Understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and meal preparation techniques. * Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Commitment to upholding high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. * A valid Vulnerable Sector Check for Employment completed by your local Police Department - No older than 6 months * Two-step TB test or chest x-ray - No older than 6 months \*this has to be fill out within 14 days of hire\* If you are passionate about providing quality dietary services and enhancing the dining experience for residents, we invite you to apply for the Dietary Aide position. _\*In accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code, Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, a request for accommodation will be accepted as part of The Wexford Residence hiring process.
