Senior Software Developer – Key Responsibilities Develop, enhance, test and maintain business-critical applications, translating technical specifications and business requirements into scalable, reliable solutions using modern programming languages, preferably Java. Work across a multi-platform environment involving Windows Server and Red Hat Linux, supporting both modern and legacy applications and ensuring system availability, performance and reliability. Work with multiple database technologies including SQL Server, Oracle 19c and IBM DB2, with hands-on experience in query/index/server performance tuning, backup/recovery and data integrity. Utilize Azure DevOps and GitHub for source control, development, CI/CD and application delivery, while following structured SDLC and Agile methodologies. Support Power Apps/low-code solutions, middleware and gateway technologies, including installation, configuration, administration, tuning and troubleshooting. Manage application monitoring, incident/problem resolution, change requests, release management, patching and production implementations for large-scale applications. Design and implement REST API integrations, conduct code reviews/unit testing, incorporate security requirements, and ensure solutions comply with organizational security standards and architecture. Collaborate with developers, architects, QA, project managers and business stakeholders; translate user stories into product enhancements, prepare technical/system documentation, conduct knowledge-transfer sessions and provide ongoing technical support.
