Thyme & Again Creative Catering

Thyme & Again has been bringing people together over good food in Ottawa for 35 years. Founded on a simple belief—make good food, do it with care, and people will return “thyme and again”—the business has grown to include two neighbourhood food shops in Wellington West and on Carling Avenue, a full bakery, production kitchens, a dedicated catering team and Nest, our event venue. Our shops offer freshly prepared meals, baking, coffee, specialty foods, home décor and gifts. Our catering team brings food, creativity and experience to everything from intimate dinners and family celebrations to weddings, corporate gatherings and large-scale events. We also create custom cakes, desserts, platters and take-home menus for easy entertaining. Over the years, we’ve had the opportunity to cater everything from family celebrations and weddings to major cultural and national events, including royal visits, landmark exhibitions at the National Gallery of Canada and the opening of the Ottawa International Airport. From the very beginning, Thyme & Again has been built by people who care deeply about what they do and about the people around them. Our chefs, bakers, event professionals, retail teams, drivers, coordinators and behind-the-scenes crew all bring something different to the table — creativity, experience, humour, care and a willingness to pitch in wherever it’s needed. We are a wonderful community of people with a common goal. Trust, collaboration and the freedom to be creative are at the heart of how we work — and have helped shape Thyme & Again for more than 35 years. Our people are still our secret ingredient. Supporting local producers and contributing to our community have always been part of how we do business. Through charity partnerships, fundraising and community events, we continue to play an active role in the city we call home.
