We're looking for an energetic, hands-on Retail Assistant Manager to support our Retail Manager in leading our busy retail operation. What You'll Do As our Retail Assistant Manager, you'll play an integral role in the day-to-day success of our retail operation by: Leading by example on the sales floor and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Supporting, coaching, and developing a high-performing retail team. Assisting with hiring, onboarding, and training new employees. Supervising daily retail operations, merchandising, inventory, and product presentation. Managing opening and closing procedures and responding to operational challenges. Supporting scheduling, shift coverage, and daily workflow planning. Assisting with inventory counts, transfers, ordering, and stock replenishment. Helping administer retail systems including POS, inventory, and operational technology. Maintaining high food safety, health & safety, and operational standards. Collaborating closely with our Kitchen, Bakery, Catering, and Head Office teams to ensure seamless operations. Identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and the customer experience. This is a highly visible leadership position where you'll spend the majority of your shift actively supporting your team on the floor while balancing operational and administrative responsibilities. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who has: 2-3 years of retail, hospitality, food service, or customer service leadership experience. Previous supervisory or team leadership experience. Experience coaching and developing employees. Strong customer service and communication skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Confidence making decisions and adapting in a fast-paced environment. Experience using POS and inventory management systems (Revel experience is an asset). Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain).
