Job summary
As a Production Control Administrator, you will provide support to various departments such as Planning, Engineering, and Manufacturing to ensure the efficient flow of information throughout the organization. This includes ensuring accurate production transactions by inputting and correcting data within an ERP system. To excel in this position, you will need to be organized, detail-oriented, and efficient with time management and data entry. This role is an 18 Month Contract with Health Benefits Location: 160 Consolidated Drive, Paris, ON Dedicated Shift: 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday – Friday Job Duties Process sales and engineering changes (ECNs) Create and manage production orders, apply and communicate production changes Review document changes and identify gaps in current systems and processes; recommend and implement effective solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams Provide research assistance to non-routine data entry errors; make recommendations and/or implement improvements to reduce repeats Create routings and bill of materials Skills and Experience Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Able to manage competing demands, deal with frequent changes, and effectively prioritize and complete tasks Maintain professional communication (written and verbal) Able to learn quickly and apply that knowledge appropriately Be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and self-directed Knowledge of production processes in an ERP system including inventory control, production control, and supply chain management Qualifications Education and training related to inventory management, supply chain management or materials management an asset. Knowledge of production processes in an ERP system including inventory control, production control and supply chain management Proficiency in common PC software, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
