Responsibilities Tasks Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy Load and unload goods Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo Transport and handle dangerous goods Credentials Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses AZ class license Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks) Air Brake (Z) Endorsement Experience and specialization Type of trucking and equipment Tractor-trailer Benefits Health benefits Health care plan

Requirements

A secondary school graduation certificate and 1 to less than 7 months of experience are specified. The role requires an AZ or Class 1/1F/A licence, an Air Brake (Z) endorsement, and experience with tractor-trailers.
