POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking an experienced and hands-on IT Manager to lead our technology operations, infrastructure, and support services. This role is responsible for managing a team, overseeing IT systems, driving projects, and maintaining a secure, reliable technology environment. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership experience, deep Microsoft 365 E5 expertise, and a willingness to contribute directly to day-to-day operations when needed. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES LEADERSHIP & TEAM MANAGEMENT * Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering a high-performance culture * Conduct regular employee performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching * Manage workloads, priorities, and resource allocation across the team IT OPERATIONS & SUPPORT * Oversee helpdesk operations to ensure timely and effective user support * Participate in hands-on technical work when required, especially during critical deadlines * Maintain and improve IT documentation standards and processes * Manage IT asset lifecycle including procurement, tracking, and disposal PROJECT & VENDOR MANAGEMENT * Lead and deliver IT projects from planning through execution * Establish and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers * Evaluate vendor performance, contracts, and service levels SECURITY & INFRASTRUCTURE * Ensure implementation and ongoing management of security best practices * Oversee systems related to MFA, endpoint security, and identity management * Contribute to disaster recovery planning and business continuity strategies * Maintain awareness and oversight of network infrastructure and security camera systems * Oversee administration and maintenance of Windows Servers, VMware, workstations and storage systems * Oversee administration of network infrastructure and security camera systems TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT & EXPERTISE * Microsoft 365 E5 ecosystem including: * Entra (Azure AD) * Defender suite * Purview * Intune * Teams (Conferencing and Phone systems) REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * Minimum 5 years of IT management experience * Proven experience: * Leading technical teams * Managing helpdesk operations * Delivering IT projects * Managing documentation and IT assets * Building and maintaining vendor relationships * Strong understanding of: * Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) * Network fundamentals * Cybersecurity principles * Disaster recovery planning * MS Windows environment ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS * Willingness and ability to take a hands-on approach to technical work when needed * Strong organizational and communication skills * Ability to balance strategic planning with operational execution * Ability to work in the office 5 days a week * Ability to address emergency issues afterhours/weekends TRAVEL * Occasional travel required within Canada and the United States WHY JOIN US * Opportunity to lead and shape IT strategy and operations * Salary of $100-120,000 per year * 3 weeks vacation * Group Benefits offered - health and dental * Collaborative environment with direct impact on business success * Balance of leadership and hands-on technical involvement * Transportation is an ever-changing landscape, so supporting it from a technology standpoint brings exciting challenges and projects ever day. * Employee engagement events COMPANY PROFILE: Titanium Transportation Group is a leading North American freight transportation company specializing in tech-forward trucking operations and logistics brokerages services throughout Canada and the United States.
