About the Role / Key Accountabilities: * Lead a small finance team while managing and delivering complex financial projects. * Develop financial models, forecasts, budgets, cost models, and scenario analyses to assess profitability using advanced data and analytical tools. * Partner with cross‑functional leaders to evaluate business initiatives, ensuring financial implications are clearly understood and aligned with organizational objectives. * Oversee the preparation of management reporting packages, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and timely delivery to executive stakeholders. * Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards that enhance visibility into operational and financial performance. * Analyze financial data, trends & variances to identify risks, opportunities, and actionable insights. * Lead ad‑hoc financial analyses to support strategic projects, pricing decisions, and operational improvements. * Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure alignment between FP&A insights and financial statement results * Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying cost‑reduction opportunities across fuel, maintenance, labor, third‑party carrier spend, etc. * Mentor team through guidance, coaching, & oversight on complex analytical tasks. * Other duties as assigned. Position Requirements: * 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or management role. * Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; CPA, CFA, or MBA is required. * Advanced financial modeling, business acumen, leadership, and data-driven mindset. * Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide data-driven recommendations. * Proactive approach to identifying improvements and developing strategies. * Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. * Advanced knowledge of Microsoft suite software and Windows operating systems. * Familiarity with data visualization software (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
