Job summary

Key Responsibilities: · Develop Electrical Drawing packages including: · Single Line Drawings · Area Classifications · RTU, PLC and/or DCS Control System wiring schematics · Package electrical layouts and junction box wiring drawings · Heat Trace Design using relevant industry standard software (Thermon/Raychem). · Cable Schedules Assist with development, specification and evaluation of Electrical Equipment RFQs. Assist with development and evaluation of Contractor RFQs. Work with other Engineering disciplines to obtain information and interpret electrical design requirements. Provide support to project managers and project team. Qualifications/Requirements: · 2 to 8 years Electrical Engineering experience. · A diploma or degree from an accredited post secondary institution in Electrical Engineering. · Membership with APEGA or eligibility to obtain this. The following would be beneficial: Desired Personal Skills: · Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and organizational skills. · Excellent ability to master new skills and adapt to technologies swiftly. · Can excel in planning, prioritizing, and working under pressure to meet set deadlines. · Ability to work independently, as well as in team environments as required. · Strong focus on client service and building lasting relationships. · Exudes a positive and professional manner at all times. The following Will be Considered an Asset: · EPCM experience · Oil and Gas or Industrial control system design experience. · Power System Software Analysis in ETAP. · Field level experience in electrical installations, construction and/or commissioning.
