Role overview • Title: Senior IT Project Manager • Location: Toronto, Ontario • Position type: On-site, 5 days per week • Role type: Contract • Duration: 6 Months / Extension • Interview type: In person • Rate: CAD $65/hour • Years of experience: 10+ About the role We’re looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of enterprise technology initiatives. You’ll manage projects end to end across business and IT teams, from requirements and planning through deployment and rollout. You’ll own budgets, risks, scope, and stakeholder alignment, and work closely with policy, legal, privacy, communications, and technical teams. What you’ll do • Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise IT projects across business and IT teams. • Manage scope, timelines, risks, issues, changes, and resources. • Manage multi-million-dollar budgets, validate forecasts and cost assumptions, and reconcile expenditures. • Define business and technical requirements, objectives, roadmaps, and outcomes. • Run Agile/Scrum delivery, including MVPs, backlogs, and sprint tracking in tools like Jira or MS Project. • Coordinate technology deployment and rollout, including Oracle Siebel CRM environments. • Lead quality assurance activities and processes. • Prepare business cases, Privacy Impact Assessments, Threat Impact Assessments, and other project documentation. • Work with policy, IT, legal, communications, and privacy teams to keep projects aligned. Must-have requirements • 10+ years of integrated enterprise project management experience across business and IT teams. • Proven experience managing multi-year, multi-million-dollar projects. • Strong experience managing stakeholders, risks, changes, issues, scope, timelines, and resources. • Experience validating financial forecasts and cost assumptions, and reconciling project expenditures. • Experience defining business and technical requirements, objectives, goals, and outcomes. • Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and MVP delivery. • Experience with Lean Six Sigma. • Experience with stakeholder management, roadmapping, and project prioritization. Nice to have • Experience with Oracle Siebel CRM projects (strong asset). • Experience with technology site deployments, rollouts, and large-scale infrastructure procurement. • Experience preparing business cases, Privacy Impact Assessments, and Threat Impact Assessments. • Knowledge of ITIL processes, including incident, release, and problem management. • Public-sector experience, including gating procedures and approval processes. • Product management experience, such as writing MRDs/PRDs, running beta or pilot programs, and defining product vision.
