Used and Rental Equipment Manager is responsible for the overall supervision of the Material Handling rental operation inclusive of capital acquisition, annual budgeting, staffing, marketing, setting commercial terms and rates, and authorizing necessary repairs and fleet disposition pricing. Additionally, the incumbent will proactively monitor the rental readiness of all MH Rents assets. Pay Type Full Time, Permanent Compensation $85,265.00 – $106,580.00 The listed base salary is just one component of our total rewards package, and performance-based or discretionary bonuses may be available. Develop and own rental business and marketing plans Promote MH rental business directly and alongside machine sales reps in each of the territories as required. * Maintain to an optimum condition and maximize the availability of all MH Equipment and attachmentsSupervise day to day rental operations with on-going coaching of rental specialists and collaborate with Service Leadership Team * Maintain required training of the Manufacturer (MLA) and other manufacturers’ product line * Promote and participate in workplace safety, environmentally sound and healthy behaviours and objectives at all times in support if Toromont’s Health and Safety Policy/ Programs and best practices Must-haves for this role: * University degree in administration education with a technical and/or business focus; or equivalent combination of education and experience * 3 to 5 years of experience in the Rental industry * Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills with a sense of urgency * Ability to mine and analyze data to support decision making * Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel * Technical aptitude with rolling equipment Products would be an asset * Self-motivated and adaptable to changing and multiple priorities to meet aggressive deadlines in a fast paced environment * Bilingualism is an asset About Toromont Material Handling Toromont Material Handling, a wholly owned subsidiary of Toromont Industries Ltd., sells, rents and provides after-sales service for the full range of Caterpillar, Mitsubishi, and Jungheinrich forklifts.
