Toromont Material Handling is looking for a rental coordinator to join our team! The Rental Coordinator is responsible to assist customers in their rental needs from our product line and promotes our products according to the policy and objectives of the company. Pay Type Full Time, Permanent Compensation $53,125.00 to $66,407.50.00 The listed base salary is just one component of our total rewards package, and performance-based or discretionary bonuses may be available. As a Rental Coordinator, YOU will experience: * Working within one of the safest organizations in the industry where your safety and well-being are our most important priority * Working for the best in class equipment dealer and with premium brands to exceed our customer needs * Opportunities to continuously Learn, Grow and Develop with our Toromont Material Handling team for your success * Competitive total rewards including: wages, benefits, and premiums (as eligible) In a typical day, YOU will: * Be responsible for assisting customers, both internal and external, with their rental needs * Completing rental agreements in IRS * Promote our products to our current and future customers * Coordinate transportation with rental customers * Obtain the required credit authorizations for the shipment of the units * Enter bookings and sales orders for external customer rentals into the DBS/IRS system * Process shipments and receipts of equipment to the DBS/IRS system. Identify and correct any irregularities * Maintain, enter and process information related to rental units in the DBS/IRS system (availability of units, installation and removal of various accessories, chargers and batteries, transfers) * Prepare and carry out rental invoicing as well as overtime and damages of equipment * Conduct research and process disputed invoices regarding the rental * Complete delivery reports when shipping rentals * Open service notices for equipment preparation and return * Carry out the classification related to your task * Collaborate on any other project or related work in the rental department Must-haves for this role: * E.C. in science of administration, university education an asset combined with 3-5 years’ experience. * Knowledge of MS Office software including Word and Excel and DBS/IRS system (Asset) About Toromont Material Handling Toromont Material Handling, a wholly owned subsidiary of Toromont Industries Ltd., sells, rents and provides after-sales service for the full range of Caterpillar, Mitsubishi, and Jungheinrich forklifts.
