Job Title: Accountant / Administrator / Financial Analyst Location: Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada Employment Type: Full-time Industry: Logistics Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant / Administrator / Financial Analyst to join our growing Logstics Company in Alberta. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, administrative duties, and ensuring the accurate handling of Bills of Lading (BOLs) and other transportation documentation. Key Responsibilities: Accounting Duties: Collaborate and supervise Off-shore Team of Accounting Technicians who will process accounts payable and receivable, including invoice generation and payment tracking Ensure Accounting Technicians queries are addressed (with Customers, Vendors or Internal) for accurate coding in the accounting system Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure address any queries before processing of payroll Assist in preparing financial reports including Month and Year end closing (monthly, quarterly, annual) Assist in preparing annual budget, tracking and expense reporting Lead to maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Administrative Duties: Handle driver paperwork/Bills of Lading (BOLs), records, and compliance documentation Manage and organize company files, documentation, and correspondence Qualifications: Diploma or degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. CPA designates are welcome to apply. Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting or admin role (trucking or logistics preferred) Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and accounting software Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask Excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of Alberta transportation regulations is an asset Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience Paid vacation and statutory holidays Health benefits package Opportunity to grow with a stable and expanding company
