What began as a category leading dining solution has evolved into a rapidly expanding lifestyle brand with ambitious plans across upholstery, outdoor, bedroom, and other home furnishings categories The Role & Strategic Mandate Replacing our Co-Founder in the marketing seat, the incoming CMO will serve as our Chief Brand Architect. You will bridge classical brand discipline with modern DTC velocity, evolving our brand narrative from functional spatial utility into an aspirational lifestyle. You will own the soul of the brand—building an in-house creative content studio, engineering scroll-stopping visual demonstration hooks, leading viral PR stunts, managing strategic partnerships/influencer networks, and directing a dedicated growth/performance team. Key Responsibilities 1. Brand Architecture & Positioning ("Transformer Home") Elevate Transformer Table’s brand positioning from functional/mechanical utility to an emotional, aspirational lifestyle brand centered on empowering human connection and modern living. Orchestrate the brand architecture for new category expansions (upholstery, bedroom, outdoor) ensuring cohesive positioning that strengthens core brand equity without dilution. Standardize global brand guidelines, photography/design languages, and value-proposition frameworks across all DTC, retail, and international footprint channels. 2. In-House Creative Content Engine & Viral Storytelling Build, lead, and mentor an elite in-house creative content studio (videographers, photographers, 3D artists, copywriters, and content strategists). Conceive and execute high-impact, visual product demonstration hooks, short-form video concepts, and breakthrough digital ad creative that drives organic search lift and top-of-funnel customer acquisition. Lead major PR moments, viral brand stunts, and high-tier partner/ambassador programs that command cultural mindshare. 3. Full-Funnel Strategic Leadership & Performance Steering Maintain strategic oversight of performance marketing and growth teams (paid social, search, CTV, affiliate), guiding creative testing hypotheses while holding channels accountable to MER, CAC, and TACOS targets. Partner closely with product development and merchandising to ensure every new launch makes a clear, strategic statement about the brand’s innovation ethos. Collaborate with the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to supply omnichannel marketing toolkits, POS display assets, and digital enablement packages for retail, marketplace, and B2B partners. 4. Executive & Founder Partnership Work side-by-side with the founding team and CEO to translate product innovation into market-ready commercial stories. Serve as an authoritative voice on the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), aligning marketing budgets, CAC/LTV targets, and multi-year growth roadmaps directly with corporate earnings objectives. Candidate Qualifications Proven Growth Track Record: 12+ years of progressive marketing leadership, with explicit experience serving as CBO, CMO, or VP of Brand at a high-growth consumer hardware, DTC, or premium home brand ($100M to $500M+ scale preferred). High-AOV Hardware Experience: Demonstrated mastery in marketing high-ticket physical products ($500–$2,000+ AOV) requiring online visual demonstration, consumer education, and purchase-friction removal. Creative Director DNA: A visionary storyteller who understands visual demonstration arcs, emotional hooks, and how to build in-house studio infrastructure that produces volume and quality. Founder Collaboration: Deep comfort operating alongside passionate, visionary founders and PE/executive teams in fast-paced scale-up environments. Classical Rigor Meets DTC Speed: Background blending classical brand training (CPG or top-tier DTC) with modern performance ad engines, organic social storytelling, and customer retention.
