Travel Lakeland Destination Management Organization is Seeking a Temporary Accounting / Bookkeeping Position St. Paul, Alberta | Approximately 1 Month | $30/hour We are seeking an experienced accounting/bookkeeping professional with strong SAGE skills for a temporary position of approximately one month (up to 35 hours per week / approximately 150 hours). The successful candidate will be responsible for entering annual accounting records for three organizations and establishing the systems needed for ongoing financial administration. Responsibilities include: Entering annual accounting transactions and records for three organizations into SAGE Setting up budgets in SAGE for each organization Setting up recurring invoicing Setting up and organizing projects in SAGE Reviewing records for accuracy and completeness Organizing accounting documentation and files Other related bookkeeping and accounting tasks as required The ideal candidate will have: Strong, hands-on experience with SAGE accounting software Previous bookkeeping/accounting experience Excellent attention to detail and accuracy The ability to work independently and manage confidential financial information Experience working with multiple organizations or entities would be an asset The position will be primarily based in our St. Paul office, although a remote work arrangement may be possible after following an initial period of in-office work. Where company records or documents are taken off-site, the successful candidate will be responsible for their secure handling and timely return. Compensation: $30.00 per hour Term: Approximately 1 month / up to 150 hours Location: St. Paul, Alberta Potential for longer-term employment: Depending on organizational needs and the success of the initial assignment, there may be an opportunity for this position to develop into a full-time position after the first quarter of 2027.
