Role Description This full-time Tank Truck Operator role is an on-site position located in Whitecourt, AB. The Tank Truck Operator is responsible for safely operating tank trucks to haul and deliver fluids to and from field locations, following all company procedures and regulatory requirements. Daily tasks include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, loading and unloading fluids, completing required paperwork and logs, and communicating with dispatch and site supervisors. The role involves operating in varying weather and field conditions, adhering to strict safety protocols, and supporting timely, efficient service for oil and gas customers. The Tank Truck Operator is expected to maintain equipment cleanliness and readiness, and collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth field operations. Qualifications Commercial driving skills, including CDL Class 1 (or equivalent), and safe Truck Driving experience Experience with loading and Unloading operations for tank trucks and related equipment Knowledge of DOT Regulations and applicable transportation and safety standards Strong awareness of oil and gas field safety practices and hazard recognition Clean driving record and ability to pass required background, drug, and alcohol checks Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, as field operations require Physical ability to perform duties such as climbing, lifting hoses, and working in outdoor conditions Effective communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions Previous experience in oil and gas hauling or industrial trucking is an asset
