What You’ll Do As a Service Technician, you’ll support the installation, maintenance, and servicing of communication systems that power Alberta’s industries. Working alongside experienced team members, you’ll learn to: * Install and service communication and electronic equipment on vehicles and in field environments * Assist with troubleshooting, testing, and programming of radio equipment * Perform radio diagnostics and programming * Provide customer service and troubleshooting support in person and over the phone * Work with conventional, trunking, and P25 radio systems * Use electrical schematics, hand tools, and test equipment safely and effectively * Contribute to a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous learning What You Bring * Strong problem-solving, mechanical, and electronic aptitude electronic aptitude) * Experience using hand tools and power tools * A positive attitude and eagerness to learn * Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude * A focus on safety and reliability * An interest in electronics, technology, or communications * Education or hands-on experience in a related field is an asset but not required * If you’re willing to work hard and learn, we’ll provide the training and support to help you grow into a skilled technician. What you’ll do

Requirements

Candidates must possess a valid Class 5 Canadian Driver’s License and be able to pass a criminal record check and drug/alcohol testing. While not required, a 2-year Electronics Engineering Technology diploma or related education is considered an asset.
