Key Qualifications: * Registered to practice with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario * Candidate will have relevant experience in assessing and treating the post-acute patients, with a focus on Orthopaedic care in an in-patient setting * Demonstrates the ability to work on a dynamic, interprofessional team including families and community partners, using effective communication skills * Demonstrates excellent organizational skills and is able to be self-directed in a fast-paced, flexible working environment * Previous experience and ability to work effectively and collaboratively with Occupational Therapist Assistants * MoCA training certification, or willingness to obtain within 1 month of hire * A second language is considered an asset Position Summary: * As a dependable clinician in providing Occupational Therapy services is able to assume new caseloads comfortably and competently * As an active member of an interdisciplinary team is responsible for providing Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment to patients * Provides Occupational Therapy services in keeping with the College guidelines and Essential Competencies, for clients with deficits in areas of occupational performance * Participates in Professional Practice meetings as required * Supervises support personnel, students and volunteers as appropriate * Participates in program planning, continuous quality improvement and evaluation, thereby contributing to the overall vision/mandate of Trillium Health Partners and Occupational Therapy Services * Provide clinical teaching, mentoring and/or supervision for OT students. The Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing assessment and treatment to patients within an orthopaedic inpatient unit. They also supervise support personnel, students, and volunteers while participating in program planning and quality improvement initiatives.

Candidates must be registered to practice with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and possess relevant experience in post-acute orthopaedic care. Strong communication, organizational, and interprofessional teamwork skills are required for this fast-paced clinical environment.
