We are seeking a Bilingual Recruiter & Human Resources Generalist (English/French) to support our growing, multi-site Canadian operations. Working from our Head Office in Owen Sound, ON, in this role, recruitment is your primary focus. You will partner with leaders across the organization to attract, engage, and hire top talent while providing generalist HR support that contributes to an exceptional employee experience. If you are energized by building talent pipelines, developing recruitment strategies, and influencing organizational success through people, we want to hear from you.This posting is for a current vacancy.What You'll DoLead Full-Cycle Recruitment Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and recruitment strategies. Create and post compelling job advertisements that attract top talent. Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, networking, referrals, and industry channels. Screen resumes, conduct interviews, coordinate hiring panels, and complete reference checks. Prepare and extend employment offers. Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs. Develop recruitment metrics and provide insights on time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and hiring trends. Collaborate with external recruiting partners and vendors when required. Support Employee Onboarding Coordinate onboarding activities and employee system set-ups. Prepare employment documentation and support HRIS transactions. Ensure new hires receive a positive and engaging onboarding experience. Assist with payroll-related employee changes and HR documentation. Provide HR Generalist Support Advise managers on employee relations, attendance, performance management, and policy interpretation. Support leave management, disability programs, accommodations, and return-to-work processes. Assist with benefits administration and employee lifecycle activities. Promote compliance with employment legislation, privacy requirements, and company policies. Contribute to Continuous Improvement Maintain accurate HRIS records and reporting. Support HR projects related to recruitment, onboarding, process improvement, and employee experience. Identify opportunities to enhance HR practices and operational efficiency. What You BringRequired Qualifications Fluency in both English and French (spoken and written) is required. Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, including significant full-cycle recruitment responsibilities. Proven experience sourcing and recruiting candidates across a variety of roles. Strong knowledge of Canadian employment standards and HR best practices. Experience using HRIS systems and recruitment platforms such as LinkedIn and Indeed. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality. Preferred Qualifications CHRP or CHRL designation (or working toward certification). Experience supporting unionized environments. Experience with disability management, leaves of absence, and return-to-work programs. Knowledge of privacy, human rights, and occupational health and safety legislation. Why Join Us? Candidates should have Canadian employment standards knowledge, experience with HRIS and recruitment platforms, and strong communication and organizational skills; CHRP/CHRL certification, unionized-environment experience, and disability-management knowledge are preferred.
