Join a dynamic salon group as a part-time Social Media Manager, responsible for elevating the online presence of a leading chain with 42 locations across Ontario. This on-site role in Toronto focuses on creating, editing, and publishing engaging weekly content that showcases the brand’s services, atmosphere, and community. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, organization, and a deep understanding of social media trends to drive audience engagement and brand awareness. Deliverables Develop and execute a weekly content calendar tailored to the salon industry. Capture, edit, and produce high-quality videos and images on-site at various Toronto locations. Write compelling captions and schedule posts across major platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok). Monitor engagement, respond to comments, and foster an active online community. Collaborate with salon staff to highlight services, promotions, and customer experiences. Track analytics and report on content performance to inform future strategies. Requirements Proven experience in social media content creation, preferably within the beauty, lifestyle, or retail sectors. Proficiency in video production, editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro), and graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop). Strong copywriting skills and understanding of platform-specific best practices. Ability to work on-site in Toronto and travel between salon locations as needed. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Up-to-date with the latest social media trends, algorithms, and content formats. Availability for part-time, contract-based work.
