Company DescriptionAs a Tools Programmer within the Quality Foundation team, you will contribute to the development and operation of one of the most widely used services at Ubisoft. Our project consists of a set of microservices that support the collection, transport, aggregation, analysis, and visualization of crashes and bugs across our games at an ever-growing scale.Our mission is ambitious: to transform the product from a monolithic architecture into a decentralized, resilient, event-driven ecosystem, while continuing to improve and expand its features. Our current goals include:Covering GPU crashesAutomatically grouping similar crashes and bugsModernizing user interfacesIf you enjoy working in technically complex environments, large-scale backend development, and tackling distributed architecture challenges, this team is for you.Job DescriptionWhat you’ll doIn a collaborative environment focused on technical excellence, you will:Design, develop, and maintain microservices (C#, .NET, Linux, and Docker)Participate in the migration to a distributed, high-availability architectureDesign robust and scalable REST APIs, and ensure proper documentation (OpenAPI)Continuously improve the reliability, performance, and observability of the service through monitoring and alertingWork closely with production and operations teams to understand their needs and improve workflowsPromote a DevOps culture: continuous integration, automated deployment, monitoring, and knowledge sharingContribute to the modernization of the product’s user interfacesQualificationsWhat you bring to the teamStrong proficiency in C# and development on LinuxExcellent understanding of REST API designGood knowledge of Git and CI toolsFamiliarity with alerting and observability toolsKnowledge of the following technologies is considered an asset: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenAPI, SQL, ElasticSearch DevOps/SRE principles and practicesAnalytical mindset and attention to detailCuriosity, autonomy, and ease in collaborating in a constantly evolving environmentAdditional InformationUbisoft is a global leader in video games, with teams around the world creating original and memorable gaming experiences—from Assassin’s Creed to Rainbow Six, Just Dance, and many more.
