As Senior Counsel for Uline’s Canadian operations, you’ll serve as a key advisor to leadership and provide guidance to support complex legal matters. Position Responsibilities * Support Canada operations and legal matters, partnering with leadership to ensure business goals align with laws and regulations. * Collaborate with U.S. teams to assess commercial transactions and ensure alignment on legal strategy to achieve desired business outcomes. * Proactively identify legal and regulatory risks and escalate issues as needed. * Conduct legal research, prepare documents and offer guidance to business leaders on a variety of legal issues. * Partner with management and HR to evaluate, develop and implement employment practices, policies and compliance programs. Minimum Requirements * Law degree (J.D. or LL.B.) from an accredited law school. * Active member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario or equivalent. * 5+ years of legal experience with a large company or law firm. * Excellent writing, communication and analytical skills. * Experience with a company headquartered in the US a plus. Requirements
Requires a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school and active membership with the Law Society of Ontario. Candidates must have at least 5 years of legal experience within a large company or law firm.
