We are currently seeking a Full-Time General Sports Sales Division Manager. As Division Manager you are the Directly Responsible for the profitable operation of your entire Division, with a primary focus on leading a high performing Team and ensuring Customer Service and Store Presentation are industry leading. You work closely with a Divisional Leadership Team that will drive sales and gross profit results, with a keen eye on industry trends. You work closely with the other Division Leaders to ensure success and consistency store wide. Ensures United Sport & Cycle’s standards of Customer Service (Hospitality) are maintained throughout our operations and that all customer concerns or issues are dealt with according to United Sport & Cycle’s standards Responsible for the performance and growth of all divisional categories Plays an active role in the procurement of inventory for all sports within the Division Works closely with the Divisional Business Analyst to help ensure we have the right product at the right time Takes a lead role in the annual Sales Budgeting process for the Division Is in tune with the marketplace for each of the Sport Categories within the Division. Works with a Divisional & Store Leadership Team to create amazing memories for United Sport & Cycle Customers instore & online Required Qualifications: 5 years leadership experience in related environment 5+ years in a leadership or management position Strong knowledge of related products and categories Proven skills in developing a strong team to meet KPI’s Proficiency with computers and keyboarding skills, excel/word proficiency Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with people, able to work co-operatively on a team Secondary education and or certificate/diploma in management, sales and marketing, merchandising and supervision Who WE are: United Sport & Cycle is a local family operated business for 90+ years – We love being a part of this community and working with our legendary team – many of which have been with us for 15+ years!
