About the Position: As an Account Manager - Chemical Sales at Univar Solutions, you will be responsible for all existing accounts within your territory (Greater Toronto Area) and be tasked with leading initiatives that drive business growth. This includes creating and fostering relationships with our existing and potential customers. What You'll Do: * Call on established and prospective customers to sell company products and services. * Proactively plan customer visits 1-2 weeks in advance. * Serve as the main point of contact in all matters related to client concerns and needs * Grow our industrial footprint within the Greater Toronto Area by meeting with customers consistently in order to strengthen client relationships. * Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to key stakeholders * Co-ordinate with Customer Service and Operations to maintain customer service levels. * Forecast sales activity and revenue projections on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. * Utilize Salesforce.com to manage customer information during all planning phases. * Other tasks as assigned. What You'll Need: * Bachelor’s degree in Technical Science, Chemistry, Business, or relevant equivalent experience. * 3+ years of experience in a B2B selling role in a related industry. * Ability to clearly articulate how proposed solutions meet client business objectives. * Recognize and monitor market conditions, trends, and competitor activities. * Must be self-motivated and apply emotional intelligence to effectively communicate with internal & external stakeholders at all levels. * Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. * Working knowledge of Salesforce.com CRM & Tableau for Data Analytics is an asset. * Working knowledge of contract terms, principles, and profitability calculations. * Must have strong organizational skills, work independently, and demonstrate initiative. Pay and Benefits: * The annual expected salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
