Operator Formulator Location: Abbotsford, BC About the position Reporting to the Plant Supervisor, the Operator Formulator is a key member of our operations team and performs all warehouse duties within a unionized environment as required. If you are looking for a challenging role in a team-oriented environment and a fast-paced facility, this is the job for you! What you’ll do: Blend and transfer bulk chemicals Load/offload tanker trucks and rail Place products on skids and wrapping them for storage and transport Load goods onto and off trucks Assist with inventory cycle counts and putting away products Light cleaning/maintenance of the warehouse and tank farm Other duties as required What you’ll need: Minimum of high school education One (1) year of experience working in a similar role Previous experience operating a forklift Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis High attention to detail and accuracy Strong focus on safety, particularly while operating heavy machinery The ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly #LI-DM1Univar Solutions is a leading, global distributor of chemicals and ingredients essential to the safety, health, and wellbeing of our daily lives from life-saving medicines and vitamins to hand sanitizers and industrial materials used for cleaning, construction, and more.
