Functions: A Part-Time Professor is required for the following course: Term Course code Course title Faculty Winter 2027 INS 5702 Issues in Social Innovation Faculties of Human Sciences and Philosophy Description of the delivery mode: This type of course is offered in the classroom, in the presence of the professor and students. Date Schedule Mode of Delivery Language January 11, 2027-April 14, 2027 Wednesday 5:30PM-8:30PM In person French Course description Study of contemporary social, political and economic issues and their impacts on citizen initiatives, collective action and social innovation projects. Required experience and qualifications: * PhD in philosophy, social sciences, or humanities. * Expertise in social innovation scholarship. * Experience teaching interdisciplinary courses in social movements and critical theory, with the ability to guide graduate students through complex theoretical debates and connect these to historical and contemporary movement-based struggles. * Experience integrating case studies, experiential learning, community-engaged pedagogy, and activist knowledge in teaching. * Passive proficiency in the second official language * Sensitivity to multiple differences (including abilities, genders, and cultures) and to students' concerns. * Proficiency with both in-person and online learning tools * Participate in three scheduled teaching meetings with members of the teaching team of the School of Social Innovation during the term Please submit your application (letter of intent and CV) online using the job posting system, by September 29, 2026, 11:59 PM.
