Job summary

This field-based position is responsible for completing warranty service, troubleshooting installation issues, performing touch-ups and finishing work, completing small installation projects, and ensuring customers receive a high level of support after their cabinetry has been installed. As the face of Cabinet Expressions in the field, you will play a critical role in maintaining our reputation for quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service. WORKING CONDITIONS: Full-time, Monday–Friday (7:30am–5:00pm) Mainly field-based, travel required Benefits available after probation Company vehicle provided Wage: $30.00-$40.00/hour JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Warranty & Service Work: Respond to warranty and service requests in a timely and professional manner. Inspect completed installations to identify deficiencies, adjustments, or repairs required. Diagnose and troubleshoot cabinetry, millwork, hardware, and installation-related concerns. Complete warranty repairs, replacements, adjustments, and corrective work to company quality standards. Repair or replace damaged components, doors, drawer fronts, mouldings, panels, hardware, and accessories. Document warranty issues, corrective actions taken, and materials used. Provide feedback to management regarding recurring service concerns, product issues, or installation trends. Maintain positive relationships with customers, builders, contractors, designers and installers. Installation & Field Support: Complete small installation projects as assigned. Install replacement cabinets, countertops, hardware, mouldings, trim, shelving, and accessories. Assist installation teams during peak workloads or on specialized projects. Perform adjustments including door alignment, drawer adjustments, levelling, and final fit-and-finish work. Verify site conditions and measurements when required. Ensure all installations meet quality standards and customer expectations. Finishing & Quality Assurance: Perform touch-up work on finished cabinetry and millwork. Repair minor scratches, dents, chips, and finish imperfections. Conduct final quality inspections of completed work. Identify opportunities to improve product quality, installation practices, and customer satisfaction. Customer Service & Communication: Serve as a professional representative of Cabinet Expressions on all job sites. Communicate effectively with customers regarding service timelines, repairs, and project updates. Address customer concerns professionally and work toward positive resolutions. Collaborate with Project Managers, Production Manager, and Installers to ensure service issues are resolved efficiently. Maintain accurate service records, photographs, and documentation. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Proven experience in cabinetry installation, finishing, woodworking, millwork, carpentry, or a related trade. Strong knowledge of cabinetry construction, installation techniques, hardware, and finishing processes. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve installation and product-related issues independently. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and installation plans. Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record. Ability to lift and carry materials and work in residential, commercial, and construction environments.
