Duration: 12+ Months Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Application / Solutions Architect to support a large-scale healthcare technology initiative. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, enhancement, integration, and optimization of complex enterprise applications. The role will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, project managers, business analysts, database teams, and other technical resources to translate business requirements into scalable and secure technology solutions. The position requires a strong combination of solution architecture, hands-on application development, enterprise integration, and technical leadership. The candidate will be involved throughout the application lifecycle, including architecture, technical design, development, testing, implementation, performance optimization, and production stabilization. This is a full-time onsite position in Fredericton, NB. Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of complex healthcare and enterprise applications. Provide solution architecture guidance and technical direction to developers and technical consultants. Translate business requirements into technical designs and scalable application solutions. Develop, maintain, and document solution architecture and technical design specifications. Lead and participate in application analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation. Conduct technical design reviews and code reviews. Design and support integrations across multiple enterprise applications and systems. Provide architectural guidance across multiple systems, applications, and business domains. Analyze and implement performance improvements for large-scale enterprise applications. Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, business analysts, DBAs, developers, and other technical teams. Ensure secure application design and coding practices are followed. Support User Acceptance Testing, system testing, defect management, and production stabilization. Troubleshoot complex application and integration issues and support production fixes. Participate in technical working groups, Agile/Scrum meetings, and other project activities as required. Maintain technical documentation and provide technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle. Experience: 15+ years of demonstrated experience in Information Management / Information Technology. 5+ years of experience as a Senior Programmer / Systems Analyst. 3+ years of experience as an Application Architect / Solutions Architect / Technical Architect. 8+ years of experience working with Provincial Healthcare and Electronic Healthcare applications in a Canadian context is highly preferred. 8+ years of experience developing, documenting, coding, testing, and implementing technical solutions. 5+ years of experience working with large-scale software systems involving web interfaces, batch processes, time-based transactions, long-running transactions, and multiple integration points. 5+ years of enterprise architecture experience involving multiple systems and business domains. 5+ years of experience analyzing, designing, and implementing performance improvements for large-scale enterprise applications. 8+ years of .NET development experience. 8+ years of Microsoft SQL Server experience. 5+ years of Java and JavaScript development experience. Candidates must be available to work full-time onsite in Fredericton, NB. Requirements

Requires 15+ years of IT experience, including senior programming or systems analysis and at least three years in an architecture role; extensive experience with large-scale enterprise applications and healthcare systems in Canada is highly preferred. Candidates should have 8+ years of .NET and SQL Server experience, 5+ years of Java and JavaScript experience, and a preferred bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
