Job summary

The selected contractor will provide professional engineering review and authentication/stamp services for RF exposure compliance studies associated with cellular and wireless telecommunications sites. Responsibilities Review RF Safety Code 6 compliance reports prepared by engineers. Verify calculations, assumptions, and compliance methodology. Provide comments and identify required revisions, if any. Apply professional seal and signature to completed reports where appropriate. Maintain compliance with applicable provincial engineering regulations and standards. Support occasional technical discussions regarding RF exposure assessments and mitigation recommendations. Required Active Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license in Ontario. Experience with RF exposure assessments, telecommunications, wireless systems, or electromagnetic compliance. Familiarity with: ISED Safety Code 6 RSS-102 requirements Cellular technologies (LTE and 5G NR) Ability to independently exercise engineering judgment and assume professional responsibility for sealed documents. Preferred Additional Canadian provincial licenses (BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Quebec, Atlantic provinces, etc.). Experience with rooftop, macro, DAS, or small-cell deployments. Previous experience reviewing or sealing telecommunications compliance reports.

What you’ll do

The contractor will review RF Safety Code 6 compliance reports and verify calculations and compliance methodology. They will also provide comments, identify revisions, and apply their professional seal to completed reports.

Requirements

An active Professional Engineer license in Ontario is required, along with experience in RF exposure assessments and telecommunications. Familiarity with Safety Code 6 and cellular technologies is also necessary.
