JOB TITLE : Groups Commercial Coordinator POSITION STATUS : Permanent DEPARTMENT : Groups Commercial LOCATION : Montreal WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Obtain Group contract from supplier (Hotel) and coordinate accordingly. Facilitate Supplier issues - (i.e. cancellation penalties, negotiating/securing additional inventory/rates for rooms not available in block) Update system bookings with supplier confirmation numbers Liaise with suppliers to discuss ACV requests, issues and procedures as relates to group bookings Responsible for the costing of group packages (manually cost package prices not available via ACV booking engines) Provide group ops with applicable inventory/rates for secured group, in order that the data be entered in the system for payment purposes Communicate with land department, product and revenue management, finance as relates to any issue that may occur Maintain and update all supplier group contracts Issue passenger rooming list/recaps to suppliers for confirmed groups per contract deadlines Action and maintain a 48 hours turnaround of all queries and price/quotes Provide feedback and recommendation with regards to groups report Create and maintain ACV/supplier terms and conditions document when group is secured Provide details/information to groups call centre and/or procedures for quoting purposes Liaise with other departments as required Perform other duties as may be assigned. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM Microsoft applications i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point (an asset) CEGEP/College degree or equivalent with 2-year minimum experience in tourism and/or related experience, operations expertise an asset Strong organizational skills, multitasker and can handle fast paced ever changing priorities Demonstrates accuracy, initiative, judgement and behaves in a confidential manner Proven analytical/negotiating and problem resolution skills, brings forth solutions and implementation processes Bilingual French/English (Spanish is an asset) Excellent communication skills verbal/written WHY WORK WITH US?
