Why Work Here · Hybrid work model · Strong team-based culture, very collaborative and supportive · Lots of opportunity for career growth and development About the Opportunity · Lead and support the financial close process, ensuring accurate, complete, and timely financial results while maintaining a strong control environment and reporting requirements · Partner with various business stakeholders to understand the business · Analyze and present financial information to drive value-add decision-making · Provide guidance on new transactions, projects, processes and accounting standards while maintaining strong governance and controls · Review, analyze and summarize accounting for contracts, policies and complex transactions · Drive transformation of financial close activities through process optimization, centralization, automation, and the adoption of emerging technologies, including AI-enabled solutions. · Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, systems, data quality, and reporting capabilities, partnering with cross-functional teams to implement solutions. · Lead and support strategic projects and organizational transformation initiatives. · Manage and develop teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance. About You · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Commerce, or a related field. · CPA designation or equivalent finance experience is considered an asset. · Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in similar accounting role. · Strong knowledge and practical experience applying IFRS accounting standards, including expert-level knowledge of IFRS 15 (Revenue) and IFRS 16 (Leases). · Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. · Experience with automation, AI, machine learning, or data analytics tools is an asset. · Support a culture of innovation - a personal interest in upskilling in latest digital and technology trends · Passion to understand operational business and its linkages to financial processes · Highly organized, with the ability to independently plan and execute on multiple priorities and demonstrate confidence and composure in times of uncertainty and stress. · Ability to partner and build relationships to influence and engage with various cross-functional groups and management levels towards a common vision · Ability to take initiative and ownership of issues and tasks by leading resolution Salary Range $100,000 – $110,000 / year How to Apply Click the “Apply Now” button and follow the instructions to submit your resume. Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, commerce, or a related field is required, and a CPA designation or equivalent finance experience is an asset. Candidates should have at least five years of progressive accounting experience, strong practical IFRS knowledge—especially IFRS 15 and IFRS 16—and proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with automation, AI, machine learning, or data analytics is an asset.
