Exposure across multiple operating companies within a large and growing real estate platform Strong autonomy with the ability to influence finance processes and decision-making Competitive Salary package inclusive of benefits About the Opportunity Budgeting: Build and maintain budget models, coordinate submissions across business units, challenge assumptions, and help deliver a consistent annual budgeting process. Initiative and performance tracking: Monitor results against the initiatives set during the budget process, and flag what is on track, slipping, or at risk to the plan. Forecasting and planning: Develop and maintain rolling forecasts, scenario models, and sensitivity analyses to help leadership understand risks and opportunities Monthly reporting and analysis: Prepare monthly management reporting, explain key variances versus budget and prior year, and identify the operational drivers behind financial performance. Track key financial and operational initiatives, monitor performance against plan, and identify emerging trends requiring management attention. Board reporting: Support preparation of quarterly Board and lender reporting by developing financial schedules, analyses, and presentation materials. Business partnering and decision support: Work with the finance leads at each partner company to answer business questions, develop financial analyses, and improve decision making. About You CPA designation preferred. 4 years of progressive FP&A experience, including experience leading a budget and forecast cycle. Strong Excel skills with the ability to build complex financial models from scratch. Experience developing budgets, forecasts, and management reporting. Naturally curious and comfortable digging into large datasets to explain business performance. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple operating companies. Experience with AI tools, Power BI, Adaptive, NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar systems is an asset. What you’ll do

The role involves building and maintaining budget models, managing rolling forecasts, and performing detailed variance analysis to track financial performance. Additionally, the manager will provide decision support to business units and prepare reporting materials for the Board and lenders.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of progressive FP&A experience and a CPA designation preferred. They must possess strong Excel skills for complex financial modeling and experience working with large datasets in fast-paced environments.
